Version 1.1 · Effective August 25, 2026 · v1.1_2026_08_25
These Official Contest Rules (“Official Rules”) govern contests sponsored and administered by LoreCards LLC (“LoreCards,” “Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Each LoreCards contest (“Contest”) will have a Contest page containing additional information and rules specific to that Contest (“Contest-Specific Rules”), including its theme, prize, eligibility, entry period, voting period, and content requirements.
These Official Rules and the applicable Contest-Specific Rules together govern participation in each Contest.
If Contest-Specific Rules expressly conflict with these Official Rules, the Contest-Specific Rules control with respect to that Contest to the extent permitted by applicable law.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Entering and voting in a LoreCards Contest are free.
Purchasing LoreCards credits, purchasing cards or collectibles, entering Drops, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise spending money on LoreCards does not improve an entrant’s chances of winning a Contest.
Normal internet or mobile-data charges imposed by a participant’s provider may apply.
A Contest is open only to individuals who:
Unless otherwise stated, the minimum age is 18 years.
Eligibility is based on legal residence, not merely the physical location from which an entrant accesses LoreCards.
Employees, officers, contractors, representatives, and agents of LoreCards LLC, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible for cash or other material-prize Contests unless the Contest-Specific Rules expressly provide otherwise.
LoreCards may require a potential winner to provide reasonable evidence establishing identity, age, residency, account ownership, or other eligibility requirements before awarding a prize.
A participant identified by the Contest results as having the highest-ranking entry is a potential winner until LoreCards verifies eligibility and compliance with these Rules.
Contests are void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
Eligible countries and regions are specified separately for each Contest.
Unless expressly included on a Contest page, a country or region is not eligible merely because LoreCards itself is available there.
LoreCards may limit individual Contests to particular countries or regions based on legal, administrative, prize-delivery, or other considerations.
Participants must accurately represent their place of legal residence when entering.
Each Contest page will state:
Entries must be submitted during the stated entry period.
Qualifying votes must occur during the stated voting period.
LoreCards’ server records will serve as the official timekeeping records for determining timely entries and votes.
To enter, an eligible participant must submit an eligible LoreCards card through the Contest’s designated entry process before the entry deadline.
Unless the Contest-Specific Rules state otherwise:
An entrant may withdraw an entry before voting begins. Once voting begins, removal or disqualification is subject to LoreCards’ administration of the Contest.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance or continued eligibility.
Before submitting an entry, participants must affirm that they:
LoreCards may maintain records showing the version of these Official Rules and Contest-Specific Rules accepted when an entry was submitted.
False or materially misleading eligibility information may result in disqualification.
Each Contest may establish additional creative or content requirements.
These may concern, among other things:
The treatment of AI-generated or AI-assisted material is Contest-specific. Participation in one Contest permitting AI-generated imagery does not imply that it is permitted in another Contest.
Entrants are responsible for reviewing the applicable requirements before entering.
Entrants retain ownership of submitted content and any copyright or other intellectual-property rights they hold in that content.
Entering a Contest does not transfer ownership of an entrant’s artwork or other submitted content to LoreCards.
By entering, the entrant grants LoreCards LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and communicate the submitted entry, in whole or in part, for purposes of:
This license includes permission to make reasonable technical and presentational modifications necessary for those purposes, including resizing, cropping, formatting, compression, creating thumbnails, applying LoreCards or Contest branding, and incorporating the entry into compilations, montages, or promotional materials.
LoreCards will not intentionally materially misrepresent an entrant’s work.
The license is non-exclusive. Entrants remain free to use, publish, license, sell, or otherwise exploit their content elsewhere.
The license continues for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and preserve Contest records and archives and to preserve promotional materials previously created or published using the entry.
LoreCards will make reasonable efforts to attribute Contest entries to the entrant’s LoreCards username or other credited creator identity where reasonably practicable.
Participation alone does not grant LoreCards the right to sell ownership of an entrant’s artwork to a third party, sell standalone merchandise or reproductions primarily featuring that artwork, or license the artwork to unrelated third parties for unrelated commercial purposes.
LoreCards will seek separate permission if it wishes to use an entry beyond the rights granted by these Rules.
Entrants represent that they own their submitted content or otherwise possess sufficient rights, permissions, licenses, or lawful basis to submit it and grant the rights required by these Rules.
Entries must not unlawfully violate another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Unless a Contest expressly specifies another mechanism, potential winners are determined through Contest Votes cast on LoreCards.
A Contest Vote is a separate Contest action from a LoreCards Like. Ordinary Likes do not cast Contest Votes, and Contest Votes do not require a Like.
A Contest Vote may be cast only when:
Each participant may cast at most one Contest Vote per entry. A participant may vote for multiple different entries in the same Contest.
Once successfully cast, a Contest Vote is final for that entry. A participant may not remove, retract, or change a Contest Vote after it is recorded.
Self-voting is prohibited.
Contest Votes may be cast only during the Contest voting period stated on the Contest page.
When voting closes, Contest Vote totals are frozen. Subsequent Likes, unlikes, or Vote attempts do not alter the archived Contest result.
This is not a random drawing.
Unless otherwise stated in the Contest-Specific Rules, a participant’s chance of winning depends on the number of qualifying community votes received by their eligible entry relative to other eligible entries.
Factors that may affect a participant’s chance of winning include:
No purchase improves a participant’s chance of winning.
Entrants may promote their Contest entries and encourage real people to visit LoreCards and vote for them.
Entrants may share Contest links with friends, followers, communities, social-media audiences, websites, and other genuine audiences, subject to the rules of those platforms and communities.
Having a large genuine audience or successfully encouraging genuine people to vote is not, by itself, prohibited manipulation.
Entrants may not artificially manipulate voting.
Prohibited conduct includes:
LoreCards may investigate suspicious activity and invalidate fraudulent votes, disqualify entries or accounts, or take other reasonable action necessary to preserve Contest integrity.
Unless stated otherwise in the Contest-Specific Rules, the highest-ranked entry after voting closes is determined by the number of frozen qualifying Contest votes.
The eligible entry with the highest qualifying vote count ranks first.
Ties: If two or more entries receive the same number of Contest votes, the entry submitted to the Contest earliest ranks higher.
The highest-ranked entrant is initially designated the:
Potential Winner Pending Eligibility Verification.
LoreCards’ frozen voting records control the Contest calculation, subject to correction of technical errors, fraud review, eligibility review, and enforcement of these Rules.
LoreCards may disqualify a potential winner who:
If the potential winner is disqualified or fails to claim the prize, LoreCards may designate the next highest-ranked eligible entry based on the already-frozen Contest rankings.
Replacing an ineligible potential winner does not reopen voting.
Each Contest page will state:
Cash prizes denominated in U.S. dollars will be identified as USD.
A participant has no entitlement to payment until LoreCards confirms their eligibility and compliance with these Rules.
LoreCards will not require a winner to pay LoreCards a fee to receive a legitimate Contest prize.
Prizes may not be transferred before award except with LoreCards’ approval.
LoreCards will notify a potential winner through their LoreCards account and may additionally use email or push notification when appropriate.
Authoritative claim instructions will be available through the authenticated winning LoreCards account.
A potential winner may be required to:
LoreCards will never require a winner to pay LoreCards a fee to receive a Contest prize.
Unless Contest-Specific Rules state otherwise, a potential winner must initiate a valid prize claim within 14 days after LoreCards makes the claim instructions available.
LoreCards will make reasonable efforts to notify a potential winner and award verified prizes without unnecessary delay.
LoreCards may request reasonable documentation or information from a potential winner sufficient to establish:
LoreCards does not require all entrants to upload identity documentation merely to participate.
Failure or refusal to reasonably establish eligibility may result in disqualification and selection of the next eligible potential winner.
Winners are responsible for taxes, duties, reporting obligations, or other governmental charges applicable to prizes they receive, except to the extent applicable law requires LoreCards to withhold, remit, or report an amount.
LoreCards may request tax information reasonably necessary to satisfy applicable reporting or withholding obligations.
Receipt of a prize may constitute taxable income even when its value is below an information-reporting threshold.
LoreCards may disqualify an entry or participant for:
LoreCards will make such decisions reasonably and in good faith based on available information.
LoreCards will make reasonable efforts to operate Contests fairly and according to their published rules.
LoreCards is not responsible for failures outside its reasonable control, including internet failures, device failures, third-party platform failures, or similar disruptions.
If fraud, a security incident, technical failure, outage, legal requirement, or other event materially compromises a Contest, LoreCards may reasonably pause, extend, modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest when necessary to protect participants, preserve Contest integrity, or comply with applicable law.
LoreCards will not materially change Contest rules after entry begins merely to advantage or disadvantage particular entrants.
Where reasonably possible, material changes affecting an active Contest will be communicated to affected participants.
Contest participation does not exempt content or accounts from LoreCards’ ordinary Terms of Service, moderation rules, copyright policies, or other platform policies.
An entered card that is hidden, unpublished, deleted, copyright-removed, moderated, or otherwise becomes ineligible may be removed or disqualified from the Contest.
Contest disqualification does not necessarily require deletion of the underlying content or account unless independently warranted under LoreCards policies.
LoreCards may publicly display:
LoreCards will not publicly display a participant’s email address, residential address, payment information, identity documentation, claim code, or private eligibility-verification information.
Where applicable law gives a winner rights concerning publication of identifying winner information, LoreCards will honor those rights.
Personal information collected in connection with a Contest will be handled in accordance with the LoreCards Privacy Policy and applicable law.
LoreCards may process information reasonably necessary to:
Private claim, payment, tax, or verification information will not be publicly displayed except where disclosure is legally required.
Participation in a Contest remains subject to the LoreCards Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, copyright policies, moderation policies, and other applicable LoreCards platform terms.
If a LoreCards account or card becomes unavailable or ineligible under those terms, the associated Contest entry may also become ineligible.
Nothing in these Official Rules limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable consumer-protection law.
